felt it was to hot to breathe
took my shoes off in a hurry
thought now is the time to leave
felt a certain taste for icecream
form that new place on the square
where I hope to train my mind reading
capability for the people there
sat myself next to this dad, mango flavour in my hand
he was talking to a band of fellow parents and he said:
"life’s a game I wanna play, there are prizes and there’s payments
every month, let us stare into the evening sun"
felt a certain taste for screaming
this is the dullest ever view
wish my mind reading capability
had a writing function too

I walk into the bathroom door at night
and oversensitive to sound
I hear the neighbour's hamster
trying to get out
I'll make peace with my emptiness
I nearly trip on my way to the fridge
I could check what brought me down
